Traditional Chinese Musician

Kerry Leung is a multiple instrumentalist. His musical studies began in Guangzhou, China, where Kerry began playing the bamboo flute 
when he was a young child. Most of his musical instruments learning was
self-taught.

For a long time, Kerry has been performing Chinese music. 

Kerry plays traditional Chinese works on the following instruments:
  • Dizi - Bamboo Flute
  • Xiao - Vertical Flute
  • Pipa - Grand Lute
  • Ruan - Moon Guitar
  • Liu Qin - Mandolin
  • Er-hu - Chinese Two Stringed Fiddle
  • Gao-Hu and Ban-Hu - High Pitched Fiddles
  • Hulusi - Gourd Flute
  • Barwu -  Ethnic flute

Kerry is a member of the Chinese Music Society of North America as well as the Chinese Fine Arts Society in Chicago. 

Kerry has performed at Ravinia Music Festival, Millenium Park, Asian cultural celebrations, nursing homes, public libraries, elementary schools, high schools, colleges, Chinese language schools, parties, and weddings.
